In this presentation, we will dive into ReJoule’s solution to make it more economical and streamlined to reuse electric vehicle (EV) batteries. Repurposing reduces the environmental impacts of battery waste, but it’s not without its challenges. Zora Chung, ReJoule’s cofounder and CFO will highlight the obstacles associated with testing used EV batteries, an overview of ReJoule’s solution, the results of some case studies, and other issues we’ve experienced when trying to repurpose used EV batteries.
Batteries that are not suitable for repurposing can be recycled. Battery recycling companies can reclaim the materials such as lithium, nickel, copper, aluminum and other materials which can then be used to manufacture new batteries.
