Our 2009 EV
Rally was held on August 29, 2009 at 10am - 4pm at Palo Alto High School
On display and
available for rides will be electric cars owned and driven daily by people in the Bay Area.
Free admission, free rides!
There are four main areas of Rally activity.
- There is a display area with vehicles on static display
- An area for test-driving personal electric vehicles including electric bikes
and scooters (please read the safety rules)
- A vendor area with a selection of green companies and EV dealers
- The rally for distance which allows registered members to compete for prizes
and offer visitors rides in a variety of electric vehicles
- Registered display vehicles are also eligible for prizes

Vehicle Participants:
Registration fee is $20 for first vehicle, $10 each for each add'l vehicle. Retail vendors
can register for a booth with provision to display vehicles and other products,
fees explained on the form. Advanced payment is appreciated, see form for options.

in advance by August 23.
The registration forms will be printed and ready for you to pick up at the rally, saving time
on rally day. You'll be
given the bottom section to put on your display vehicle, and the top portion will
go into our file box.
Forms will be available the day of the rally for those who did not register early.

Electric Vehicle Safety
Rules
The following rules apply to riders of all electric bikes, scooters, etc.
1. Pedestrian safety is the highest priority – act accordingly.
2. Riders under 18 years of age must have parental permission to ride.
3. Parents must supervise riders under age of 18 at all times.
4. Riders must stay within designated riding area.
5. Riders must maintain a safe speed at all times to protect the rider and other
people and property.
6. All two-wheel EV riders must wear helmets (we recommend you bring your own helmet
if you think you'll be trying out two-wheel EVs, though vendors will have a few
helmets available).
7. Failure to abide by above rules will result in loss of riding privileges.
