EAA Silicon Valley is a chapter of the Electric Auto Association, a nonprofit organization formed in 1967 to promote the use of electrical vehicles as a viable transportation alternative that is efficient, economical, and ecological. We meet  monthly on the 3rd Saturday of the month, and host an annual EV Rally. Please see our Meetings page for monthly speakers, or join our Yahoo! Group for meeting announcements and other EV discussion. There are EAA chapters across the U.S., in Canada, and in Germany. Visit the national website for information on EVs, chapters, news, and EAA merchandise.

We've become an Amazon Associate and are trying out the program! If you visit Amazon via the links below and buy anything (almost anything at all!) during that visit, EAA, a nonprofit, will get a portion of the proceeds. Please make eaasv.org the starting point for your Amazon purchases to help the EAA!

Google.org RechargeIT Contest Video

Our Silicon Valley Chapter of the Electric Auto Association has sponsored an entry for the Google RechargeIT contest to create a video about Plug-In cars. Jerry Pohorsky and Enza Sebastiani did a video shoot based on Jerry's daily commute in his RAV 4 EV. They pass a couple of large solar installations along the way and those made it into the video as well. Check out the 90sec video.
